In this energetic role, you will provide top-tier care and attention to dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Your enthusiasm for animal handling and pet wellness will contribute to creating a positive environment for our furry guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while supporting pet owners' peace of mind. Duties Provide attentive care to dogs, including feeding, walking, grooming, and administering medication as needed Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques and ensure their well-being during their stay Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces to uphold health standards Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly Assist with pet boarding and pet sitting services, ensuring each dog receives personalized attention Support outdoor activities such as playtime and exercise sessions in secure outdoor spaces Perform general cleaning duties to keep the facility hygienic and welcoming for pets and staff alike Skills Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician background highly preferred Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling that demonstrates confidence working with animals Knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Ability to lift heavy objects safely through team lifting practices when handling supplies or large dogs Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Pet grooming skills are a plus for maintaining the appearance and comfort of the animals in our care Outdoor work experience that supports active engagement with dogs during outdoor activities Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
