Job Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, runs, and the training facility to ensure a clean and odor-free environment. Perform general cleaning in other areas of the facility to control the spread of disease and maintain cleanliness. Provide food, water, and enrichment activities for the dogs to ensure their well-being. Supervise playgroups to facilitate socialization and promote a safe environment. Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any signs of illness, injury, or unusual activity. Bathe, groom, and provide general care for the dogs in our facility.
Position Requirements:
Ability to use cleaning materials and equipment efficiently. Capable of performing moderately heavy physical labor. Knowledge and skills in handling dogs with various temperaments. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Patience with both dogs and people. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a loud and dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude. Willingness to work weekends and holidays. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectants, animal dander, and excretions.
Experience and Shift Availability:
Minimum 1 year of experience working professionally with dogs (required). Day shift availability (required).
Compensation and Schedule:
Hourly rate: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour. Part-time position with day shift, holiday, and weekend availability required.
