In this energetic role, you will provide attentive, loving care to puppies and young dogs, ensuring they are healthy, happy, and well-socialized. Whether you're experienced in veterinary assistance or passionate about animal behavior and training, this role is perfect for someone eager to grow in pet care. Duties Provide daily care for puppies, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed by management. Engage puppies in socialization activities and basic training exercises to promote good behavior and confidence Monitor puppies' health and behavior, identifying signs of illness or distress promptly Maintain a clean and sanitized environment by cleaning kennels, play areas, and grooming stations regularly Handle animals gently using proper restraint techniques during examinations or grooming procedures Assist with pet boarding services by caring for puppies during their stay and ensuring their comfort Experience
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician background highly preferred Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling is a strong plus Familiarity with kennel operations and pet boarding procedures is advantageous Knowledge of animal behavior and pet grooming techniques is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during kennel cleaning or moving supplies Outdoor work experience helps in managing exercise routines and outdoor playtime with puppies Strong skills in animal restraint, pet care facility sanitization, and customer service are essential for success This energetic role invites passionate animal lovers ready to make a difference in the lives of puppies every day.
