Allie's Walkabout is growing AGAIN! Our second location officially opens in Covington on October 5th, WHOO!!! We are currently hiring full-time and part-time team members for both our Erlanger and Covington locations . We are looking for hardworking teammates who are interested in a physically and mentally active position and who will take pride in keeping our pups well cared. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a sense of humor go a long way here. We are a family-owned business that puts team culture first! We take our responsibility to the dogs seriously while making room for fun and genuinely enjoying the people we work alongside. For this position, you will help supervise playgroups and care for our daycare and boarding guests. Keeping their spaces clean, safe, and sanitized is extremely important so please keep in mind that you will not simply be playing with puppies all day, although that's still a big portion of that job. Experience is NOT required! We simply need people who are ready to learn, grow, and laugh along the way, we can teach you the rest. Compensation starts at $12.50 per hour and increases to $14.50+ after training is completed . We love our people and want them to keep learning and growing with us. Opportunities for advancement are available in management, certified dog training, and certified dog grooming! Qualifications ✓ 18 years or older ✓ Available to work 6:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and/or 2-8:30 p.m. ✓ Available a minimum of 3 days per week, including one weekend day ✓ Our dogs get the best care every single day of the year, so holiday availability is required. We offer shorter holiday shifts and do our best to work around everyone's plans. ✓ You must be able to perform active, physical work and stand for 4-6 hours at a time ✓ Dependable and punctual ✓ Open to giving and receiving feedback ✓ Likes to have FUN while they work ✓ Loves dogs AND people ✓ Communicates clearly and honestly ✓ Has a positive attitude that reflects our core values ✓ It takes time, training, and trust to build relationships between our staff and our pups that for some, are lifelong bonds.
