Experienced Dog Trainer 1.3 1.3 out of 5 stars Rogers, MN 55374 Full-time Red Barn Pet Retreat 3 reviews Full-time Experienced Dog Trainer We are excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Dog Trainer to join our team. This position will operate out of a dedicated on-site training space and will support a well-established, highly successful daycare and pet care business with a strong and continually growing client base. The ideal candidate is confident working with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and behavior challenges, and is excited to collaborate closely with ownership to help expand and strengthen our training program. Responsibilities Conduct private training sessions and group classes Assist with obedience, socialization, enrichment, and behavior-focused training Evaluate dog behavior and help implement individualized training plans Work collaboratively with the owner and management team on training goals and program development Maintain a safe, structured, and positive training environment Ideal Candidate Metrics Minimum 2+ years of professional dog training experience Experience with behavioral challenges including leash manners, reactivity, impulse control, and socialization Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment Reliable, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting Certifications such as CPDT-KA, Fear Free, or equivalent are a plus What We Offer Dedicated training space within an established facility Built-in client demand from a trusted and established business Opportunity to help shape and grow the training department alongside ownership Supportive management and team environment Competitive compensation based on experience If you are passionate about dog training and want to be part of a respected, team-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.
