Job Description
Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant River City Bark & Park - Elizabeth City, NC We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant to join our team. This is a hands-on job that includes caring for dogs, supervising playgroups, feeding, cleaning, and keeping our facility safe and clean. This job involves a lot more than just playing with dogs. Job Duties Supervise dogs during indoor and outdoor play Feed and provide fresh water to dogs Clean playrooms, boarding rooms, yards, bowls, and bedding etc Pick up and clean dog waste and other messes Give medications as directed Help with baths and nail trims when needed Help provide enrichment activities Follow care instructions for each dog Report any health or behavior concerns Complete opening and closing duties as needed Requirements Must be dependable and arrive on time Comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes Comfortable cleaning urine, feces, vomit, and other messes Able to safely handle dogs on leash Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Able to follow directions and work as part of a team Previous dog-care experience is helpful but not required Must be 18 years old Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Pay:
