Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional care for our canine clients! In this energetic role, you will ensure the well-being, cleanliness, and safety of animals in our dog boarding facility. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a comfortable environment for pets and peace of mind for their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with dogs while developing valuable skills in dog handling, health, and customer service. Responsibilities Provide attentive dog care, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through thorough sanitization and cleaning routines Handle dogs safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security Monitor dog behavior and health Assist with dog boarding and outdoor exercise activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and answering their questions about pet care Qualifications Prior animal experience or background is highly preferred Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling demonstrates a strong understanding of animal behavior and needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail in cleaning protocols and facility sanitization practices Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards pet owners and team members Passion for animal care combined with a proactive approach to safety and well-being Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and not get stressed
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
