Responsibilities Care for dogs through feeding, grooming, and walking Handle dogs safely during daily activities using proper handling skills Maintain cleanliness of kennels, outdoor play areas, and common spaces to ensure a sanitized and safe environment for all animals Assist with outdoor work such as yard cleaning, fencing checks, and ensuring secure outdoor play zones are safe for dogs Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly valued for understanding animal health needs Experience in pet sitting or pet boarding demonstrates your ability to care for animals in various settings Background as a veterinary assistant or kennel worker provides essential knowledge of animal handling and facility sanitation Skills in dog training or animal behavior help promote positive interactions and effective training techniques Familiarity with pet grooming, pet care facilities sanitization, and animal restraint techniques enhances your ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety Outdoor work experience supports the physical demands of yard maintenance and outdoor activities with dogs Strong customer service skills are beneficial for communicating effectively with clients and team members This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about animal welfare who thrive in active environments.
