JOB DESCRIPTION
  • PT Dog Handler Position Ohio Geese Control's mission is to create a healthier and happier environment by humanely managing migratory bird populations.
If you enjoy working outdoors and with dogs, this job is a perfect fit. We'd love to have you as part of our fun team, working with dogs and managing the geese population at our client sites." Opportunity to house a Dog!
Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain geese control by servicing clientele
  • Drive, walk and handle Border Collie
  • Ensure safety of all involved
  • Maintain hourly and daily log of services rendered
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Drive (including on the highway) 50
  • 150 miles a day
  • Walk long distances, up/down steep pond banks, varied and uneven terrain, on/off paths
  • Drive and walk in inclement weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and or carry 40
  • 50 lb.
Border Collie Experience:
  • Experience and a love of dogs
  • Ability to learn ways to handle dog, geese and job at hand

$13.00
