Responsibilities Assist lead trainers in implementing obedience training and pet behavioral modification programs using positive reinforcement strategies Handle dogs and other animals safely during training sessions, ensuring proper restraint and care Support pet grooming, kennel routines, pet sitting, and daily animal care tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Communicate effectively with clients about training progress, behavioral goals, and at-home reinforcement techniques Help set up training classes by preparing equipment and ensuring a positive classroom atmosphere for both pets and owners Contribute to maintaining accurate records of training sessions, animal behavior observations, and client interactions Support the team during heavy lifting tasks related to animal supplies or equipment as needed Requirements Previous experience with veterinary settings, veterinary technicians or assistants is highly desirable Experience working with animals such as dogs or horses, including handling and restraint techniques Knowledge of positive reinforcement training methods for pets and familiarity with pet behavioral modification strategies Strong animal handling skills including dog handling, animal restraint, pet grooming, and pet sitting experience Excellent client communication skills to explain training techniques clearly and professionally Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and standing for extended periods A genuine passion for animals combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in pet care and training Join us in creating happier pets and more confident owners!
