Job Description

Position Overview Phoenix Waggy Tails is looking for a reliable and energetic Attendant to join our team. This role is focused on creating a positive, structured, and safe environment where dogs can socialize, exercise, and thrive. The ideal candidate is attentive, hardworking, and passionate about dogs. Key Responsibilities Oversee group play sessions to ensure dogs interact safely and appropriately. Provide hands-on care, engagement, and supervision throughout the day. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by disinfecting play areas, kennels, and common spaces. Support daily operations by collaborating with team members to keep schedules running smoothly. Qualifications Prior experience working with dogs in a daycare, kennel, shelter, veterinary, or similar setting preferred. Understanding of safe dog handling and restraint practices. Comfortable managing dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Physically capable of standing the full shift, lifting, and controlling active dogs. Able to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment. Core Skills Strong animal supervision and handling abilities Awareness of canine body language and behavior Dependable and team-oriented mindset Clear communication skills Attention to cleanliness and organization
