Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Job description: About the Position We're looking for a hardworking, dependable Demo Technician to join our growing water mitigation team. In this role, you'll help homeowners during one of the most stressful times of their lives by removing damaged building materials, preparing homes for reconstruction, and helping restore their property after water damage. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to make a real difference for customers. Responsibilities Perform demolition of water-damaged drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, and trim Follow IICRC standards and company procedures for safe demolition practices Protect unaffected areas using plastic containment, floor protection, and dust control Remove debris and leave job sites clean and organized Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials Assist mitigation technicians with equipment setup and removal when needed Document work completed with photos and job notes Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic questions about the restoration process Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE Qualifications Construction, demolition, restoration, or remodeling experience preferred (training available for the right candidate) Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work Comfortable using power tools and hand tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from work Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent customer service and communication skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($18-$28/hour based on experience) W-2 Employment Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid training and opportunities for advancement Company uniforms and equipment provided What We're Looking For We want team members who care about people just as much as the work.
