Job Description
Kennel assistant wanted for high volume pet boarding and training facility. This position is for the training kennel. Must be dependable, hard working, and available weekdays and sometimes on weekends.
Duties include:
feeding, general care, and cleaning up after animals. Sanitizing kennels, picking up animal waste from yards, dishes, sweeping, etc. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lb bags. Mowing and other maintenance work will also sometimes be needed. Candidate will go out to the fields with the trainer and throw, bumpers and birds for dogs in gun dog training. This is a physically demanding job with much of it outdoors regardless of weather. Shift is 7:00 am- to 11:00 or 12:00 and occasionally later. Experience working with animals is desired. Approximately 20
- 25 hours per week.
