Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Equine Specialist | Riding Lesson Coordinator to help lead our equestrian programs and oversee daily barn operations. This dynamic role combines hands-on management of barn activities with overseeing riding instruction for students of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will foster a safe, engaging, and educational environment that promotes growth, confidence, and a love for horses and riding. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant setting where passion for equestrian activities meets exceptional leadership. Strong communication skills, horse knowledge, and the ability to keep our program running smoothly for clients, staff, and horses alike. Duties Manage daily barn operations, including horse care, feeding, grooming, and maintenance of facilities Oversee riding lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders Supervise and mentor riding instructors and barn staff to ensure high standards of safety and quality Fill in as lesson instructor if necessary Scheduling and coordinating farrier appointments Organizing chiropractor and veterinary visits Managing feed and supply orders Acting as Lesson Liaison ensuring lessons are on time and running smoothly Capable of driving a truck and horse trailer to facilitate veterinary appointments Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper behavior management and emergency procedures Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and enthusiasm among staff and students Requirements Proven experience in barn management or equestrian instruction with a strong understanding of horse care and safety standards Prior experience as a riding instructor or coach, with the ability to teach riders of all ages and skill levels Knowledge of behavior management techniques to promote safe riding practices Comfortable communicating with clients, parents, and staff Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Join us to inspire riders while managing a vibrant barn community!
