Job Description
- Kennel Technician - $12/hr | Fur Paws LLC | Houston, TX
- Fur Paws LLC in Houston, TX is looking for one Kennel Technician to join our team. We are located at 5004 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77007. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working with a genuine passion for dogs.
Pay:
- $12/hr, W-2, Direct Deposit every two weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Providing food and water to animals according to a set schedule Supervising animals and picking up after them Playing with or supervising animals in play areas Cleaning and disinfecting kennel facilities, equipment and other items Checking boarded animals in and out Administering medications Monitoring health and behavior and reporting concerns
Qualifications:
- Must have experience working with dogs - required Understanding of dog body language and safe handling Able to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work outdoors in Texas heat Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must be 18+ with reliable transportation Weekend and holiday availability required Additional shifts and hours may be available based on performance and business needs.
