Description
  • Experience guiding quail hunts is required - please list experience on resume
  • Dog-guided hunting experience strongly preferred
  • This position requires a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can work effectively in a ranch environment in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service to a variety of clients.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Guide quail/dove hunting trips Help train and maintain approximately 45 hunting dogs and kennel Operate equipment for general ranch maintenance and brush clearing General ranch maintenance Essential Functions Guided quail hunting experience required (3-5 years preferred) Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (cannot be dropped off) Drive to camp from the gate entrance can be from 5-15 miles one-way Longer working days during peak season (September-February); can be 7 days a week depending on hunt schedule Pre-employment drug test and background check required About HOLT Group HOLT Group is a renowned, family-owned company with a legacy spanning nearly a century.
