Managers are responsible for staff supervision, maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of our 4-legged guests, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties include:
Supervising, training, and mentoring Kennel Technicians and Assistant Managers Staff scheduling Leading, monitoring, and managing groups of dogs Recording and reporting accurate info on the health, activities, and behavior of each dog to pet parents Handling dogs at check-in and check-out Greeting new clients and explaining the program and the benefits for their dog Cleaning/sanitizing play areas, common areas, and crates Documenting, storing, and organizing guests' food, medications, and belongings Tracking inventory and ordering supplies and equipment Using verbal cues, body blocking, and proactive intervention to manage group interactions Spending time interacting with each dog individually and knowing their limits, play styles, and help signals

Qualifications:
The manager level position requires prior professional experience working with dogs (in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary clinic, shelter, or other similar setting) Experience with staff supervision strongly preferred Passion for animal care and providing fun activities for dogs Excellent knowledge of dog behavior Excellent people skills Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Physical ability to secure and handle large dogs Physical ability to clean and perform minor maintenance Must have reliable transportation and follow all company policies and procedures.
