Part Time office and Dog Handler The Woof Dog Daycare and Boarding Sturtevant, WI Job Details Part-time From $12 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Companion animal handling Interpersonal skills Outdoor work experience Dog handling Pet care facility sanitization Full Job Description Part-Time Office & Dog Care Team Member The Woof Dog Daycare & Boarding The Woof is looking for a dependable, energetic Part-Time Office & Dog Care Team Member to join our team! This is a hands-on position that combines front office/customer service responsibilities with caring for dogs throughout the facility. Some days may involve more office work, while others may have you spending more time helping with the dogs.
Responsibilities Include:
Greeting clients and assisting with drop-offs and pick-ups Answering phones, emails and client questions Scheduling reservations and assisting with basic office tasks Checking dogs in and out Supervising daycare playgroups Feeding, watering and providing general care for dogs Cleaning kennels, play areas and other areas of the facility Taking dogs outside in all types of weather Assisting with boarding dogs and daily routines Communicating important information with other team members Helping wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts A team player who communicates well and is willing to jump in where needed Positive attitude and ability to have fun while still getting the job done Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Able to work in a busy, sometimes loud and fast-paced environment Comfortable spending a significant amount of the day outside in varying weather conditions Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours Able to lift at least 40 lbs Willing and able to work weekends and holidays Comfortable working hands-on with dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments
Schedule:
Part-time position with a combination of weekday, weekend and holiday shifts. Our dogs are here 365 days a year , so reliability and schedule flexibility are an important part of this position. From $12.00 per hour
