The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in barbering and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. As a Barber, you will provide high-quality haircuts, grooming services, and styling to our diverse clientele while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Working well with our other our barbers is very important. We hire individuals who thrive in a fun team atmosphere, who love working for the betterment of the entire shop and enjoy a lively fun shop environment. There is a need for some 4:00 PM -8:00 PM shifts to be filled right now for part time employees, but in the near future more hours will be available. We try to staff appropriately to give the staff their best opportunity to be busy, so we will not overloud the amount of barbers on the floor at the same time. Responsibilities Perform haircuts, beard trims, and grooming services using various techniques, including straight razor shaving. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations based on hair type and style. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barbershop, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use. Utilize Fresha software for scheduling appointments and managing client records effectively. (Will instruct how to use if you do not know) Provide additional ear and nostril waxing and mentoring junior staff as needed. Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills. Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, color theory, and grooming techniques to enhance service offerings. Assist at the front desk when necessary, like answering the phone and scheduling. Ensuring smooth operations during business hours. Requirements Valid Barber/cosmetology license is required. Proficiency in various barbering techniques, including straight razor shaving, fades, and longer haircuts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds. A clientele following is a BIG plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Must be able to work Sunday and Monday (at least) for the Gilbert location and/or Monday through Thursday early morning for the Higley Location.
