Seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Salon Assistant to join a private salon suite in San Diego. This is a great opportunity for a recent cosmetology graduate who wants hands-on salon experience and the opportunity to learn more about professional color, blonding, highlighting, and styling services. You'll work directly alongside a salon owner with over a decade of experience, assisting with clients and helping keep appointments running smoothly in a relaxed, professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Shampoo and condition clients Assist with blow-drying and styling Prepare and mix color as directed Assist with highlights, blonding, toners, and treatments Prepare clients and stations for services Clean and sanitize tools, bowls, brushes, and salon surfaces Sweep and reset the salon between clients Keep products, color, towels, and supplies organized and stocked Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for clients Provide general assistance throughout appointments as needed

Requirements:

Valid California Cosmetology license Dependable and punctual Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with clients Organized and detail-oriented Able to take direction and work efficiently Interested in learning and improving their skills Passionate about hair, especially color, blonding, and highlighting
