Located within the Bella Vista community, which includes five residential buildings with approximately 17 stories each, our salon offers access to a large residential community with strong demand for convenient beauty services—especially hair services. Professionals are also welcome to bring and build their own outside clientele.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver professional skincare treatments, including facials, eyelash extensions, waxing, and other services within your license and scope of practice. Perform hair services, including cuts, coloring, highlights, extensions, protective styles, and special-occasion styling, depending on your specialty and license. Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, straight-razor services, and traditional grooming techniques. Conduct personalized consultations and recommend appropriate services and products based on each client's needs. Maintain excellent sanitation and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and salon policies. Manage appointments, client records, and transactions using the salon's scheduling and payment system, when applicable. Provide professional, friendly customer service and help create a welcoming experience for Bella Vista residents and outside clients. Support the salon's smooth daily operation by greeting clients, communicating about appointments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Professionals experienced in additional services, such as hair extensions, lashes, makeup, threading, braids, locs, or other specialty beauty services, are encouraged to apply.
FLEXIBLE CHAIR OPTIONS
We offer flexible arrangements to accommodate professionals at different stages of their careers:
Monthly Chair Rental:
$600 per month or $150 per week — Rent a chair for the month or pay weekly, depending on your preferred payment schedule. You will operate your own independent business from the salon.
Shared Chair Rental:
$300 per person per month — Two professionals may share one chair. This option works especially well for professionals with different schedules, such as one professional working mornings or daytime hours and another working evenings or nights. A second professional must rent at the same time to ensure both schedules work well together.
Percentage-Based Chair:
30% of earnings to the salon / 70% retained by the professional — One chair will remain available for professionals who prefer to pay a percentage per client instead of committing to monthly rent. This option may be especially helpful for professionals who are still building their clientele or want to work only certain days.
QUALIFICATIONS A
valid license is required for all services performed, including cosmetology, barbering, and/or esthetics. Beauty-industry experience and a portfolio of your work are strongly preferred. Knowledge of proper sanitation, infection control, and safety practices. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and professionally while contributing to a welcoming salon environment. Experience with scheduling or salon-management software is helpful but not required. Dependability, respectfulness, and a commitment to providing quality services.
PARKING AND ACCESSIBILITY
Parking in the area may be limited or inconvenient. This is reflected in the rental price, which also includes utilities; equipment such as comfortable reclining chairs and mirrored stations; a clean environment; high-potential clientele; a kitchen area for professionals; opportunities to build clientele through other esthetic and massage chair services; and access to a washer and dryer for towels or other washable equipment used during services.
