This position is perfect for someone who loves the salon environment, is confident with blowouts and styling, and wants the opportunity to continue growing behind the chair while assisting with day-to-day salon services. Responsibilities Perform professional blowouts and basic styling services on clients Shampoo and condition clients Assist hairstylists with color, treatments, extensions, and other services as needed Prepare clients and stations before services Help with mixing color and product preparation when directed by a stylist Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized workstations Clean shampoo bowls, tools, and common salon areas throughout the day Help maintain a smooth client experience from arrival through checkout Assist with salon flow during busy appointment days Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Confident performing smooth, bouncy, and polished blowouts Passionate about hair and the beauty industry Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with clients Reliable and punctual Organized and able to work in a fast-paced salon Willing to learn and take direction Team-oriented and willing to help where needed Interested in developing their skills and growing within the salon Qualifications Cosmetology license preferred Cosmetology students nearing completion may also be considered depending on experience Blowdrying experience strongly preferred Salon experience is a plus Must be comfortable working with different hair textures and lengths Must have reliable transportation Compensation This is a commission-based position with the opportunity to earn commission on services performed. Compensation and commission structure will be discussed based on experience, skill level, and services the candidate is able to perform. There is also opportunity for growth as the stylist develops their clientele and expands the services they can offer. Schedule We are looking for someone with dependable availability and flexibility, including some evenings and Saturdays.
