Duties Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty Utilize advanced techniques such as straight razor shaves and makeup application to provide comprehensive beauty solutions Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health and safety regulations and salon protocols Use salon software like

for appointment scheduling, client management, and upselling services effectively Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice on hair care products, and build lasting relationships Mentor and support junior stylists by sharing techniques, providing constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth Manage store operations efficiently by assisting with inventory management and ensuring a smooth client flow Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in hair styling and coloring Extensive knowledge of hair care products, color theory, and application techniques for various hair types Hands-on experience with hair extensions installation and maintenance Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client records Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their unique needs Experience mentoring or training junior staff members is highly desirable Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited institution is required; additional certifications in makeup application or advanced styling are a plus

Pay:

$25.50 - $75.00 per hour
