Duties Provide professional hair care services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and barbering using industry best practices. Deliver personalized client consultations to understand their needs and recommend suitable treatments or styles. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies. Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms to ensure smooth scheduling. Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Foster positive relationships through excellent customer service, effective communication, and personalized client communication. Mentor junior team members or apprentices when needed to promote a collaborative learning environment. Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY or equivalent for booking and record keeping. Demonstrated expertise in hair coloring techniques and color theory principles. Skilled in hair styling, hair care treatments, makeup application, and sanitation procedures. Experience working with diverse hair types and textures, including hair extensions and specialized treatments. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and team members.
