Job Summary We are seeking Salon Assistant, talented and experienced Locticians & Braiders to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about hair care and styling, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in braiding techniques, professional loctician, services, and a desire to mentor others in the beauty industry. Duties Provide expert loctician and braiding services to clients, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a professional environment. Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products. Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience. Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their growth in the beauty industry. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair care, braiding styles, and beauty products. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages creativity and teamwork. Marketing and advertising Requirements Proven experience as a loctician or braider with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of retail sales practices and retail math to effectively promote products. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A passion for mentoring others and sharing expertise in hair care techniques.
