Loc Specialist / Loctician (Stylist) - Sugarloaf Mills Mall Black Lotus Braid Lounge | Commission/Hourly Position Black Lotus Braid Lounge is seeking a skilled Loc Specialist/Stylist to join our team at our Sugarloaf Mills Mall location. We are looking for a professional, reliable stylist who is passionate about loc care and versatile in protective styling. Responsibilities The ideal candidate must be proficient in: Loc retwists (all methods required): Palm rolling Interlocking Crochet Loc maintenance and repairs Loc extensions Loc reattachments Basic to advanced loc styling Bonus skills (highly preferred): Microloc knowledge and experience Braiding versatility Natural cornrows (with or without designs) Additional natural hair or protective styling skills Versatility is extremely valuable to our salon, and candidates with braiding ability will be strongly considered. Professional Requirements Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance Must be able to demonstrate your work Photos of your work and social media portfolio will be required Professional references will be required If references are not submitted with the internal application, the application will be automatically rejected Important Position Details This is a commission/hourly employee position (not booth rent) You will be working under the Black Lotus Braid Lounge brand This is not a position to build clientele for a separate personal loc business If you currently own a loc services business, it must not conflict with our salon Self-promotion inside the salon is not permitted If you are looking for a team environment, consistent work, and a professional salon brand to grow within, we would love to hear from you.
