The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a keen understanding of color theory, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients' natural beauty. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every client. The ability to work in different departments in our Day Spa is a huge factor is advancing very quickly. Ex. 1Manicures, Pedicures. Waxing, Facials, etc. Duties Perform a variety of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences. Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon environment. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized consultations. Mentor junior stylists and share expertise in hair care practices and retail math to drive product sales. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and techniques through continuous education. Experience Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment. Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices. Familiarity with barbering techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience with retail math is beneficial for managing product sales effectively. A valid cosmetology license is required.
