Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Cosmetology Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring beauty professionals. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training across a wide range of cosmetology disciplines, including skincare, hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and aesthetic treatments. Your expertise will help students develop their technical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence to succeed in the competitive beauty industry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of cosmetologists while working in a vibrant educational environment. Duties Deliver engaging lessons on cosmetology topics such as hair coloring, hair extensions, barbering, facial treatments, eyelash extensions, and body waxing Supervise and mentor students during practical salon sessions to ensure safety and skill development Plan and prepare lesson materials aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices Demonstrate techniques including massage therapy, trigger point therapy, dermabrasion, and aesthetic laser treatments Assess student progress through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written assessments Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, professionalism, and continuous learning Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques like hair threading and deep tissue massage into instruction Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in skincare, massage therapy, hair styling, and esthetic treatments Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and aesthetic treatments Prior classroom experience or teaching background in adult education or cosmetology is highly preferred Ability to mentor students effectively while fostering a supportive learning environment Skilled in lesson planning and curriculum development for diverse learner levels Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students Certifications or licenses in cosmetology-related fields such as barbering, esthetician license, or massage therapy are required or highly desirable Join us as a Cosmetology Instructor to empower students with the skills they need to thrive in the beauty industry. $15.00 - $21.50 per hour
