Essential Functions Responsible for cutting and styling hair consistent with resident's requests. Wash, rinse, and dry resident's hair using appropriate shampoos, conditioners, and other necessary hair products. Maintains cleanliness in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensures work area is clean and equipment is always sterilized. Coordinate and schedule appointments for residents. Communicate with residents to ensure satisfaction of services. Promotes a friendly and positive atmosphere in the delivery of services. Contributes positively to the Quality of Life Team and keeps direct report informed of significant issues. Ensures that required documentation for activities within areas of responsibility is performed in an accurate and timely manner. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant experience Barber or Hair Stylist experience Required 1 year of relevant experience in a long-term care setting Preferred LIC-Cosmetologist
