• Currently, we are looking for barbers available for a: ~9:30-5pm Tuesdays ~9:30-5pm Fridays ~8:30am-3pm Saturdays ~as well the ability to pick up shift opportunities throughout the week

• Applicants must have a reliable form of transportation, personal accessible tools and products (ie: oils, pomade, aftershave, other hair products, etc.) All our barbers are expected to wear casual and appropriate attire while working at our facility
• Julius Barbershop is a small family owned business in Livonia, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Provide barbering services to clients including men, children, and women. Our shop accommodates those who may need extra care due to personal needs (ie: wheelchair cuts).
• Our services include haircuts, shaves, flat tops, beard trims, fades, bald/skin fades, taper haircuts…straight razor, around neck and ears
• Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyle or grooming preferences
• Use barbering tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in barbering
• We expect our barbers to be team players and contribute to the upkeep within our shop.

Experience:

• Willing to hire new graduates. Would prefer a minimum of 2 years of experience as a barber
• Proficient in a wide range of barbering techniques, including clipper cuts, scissor cuts, and straight razor shaves
• Strong knowledge of different hair types and textures
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while working well alongside others.
