Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, manage front desk duties, and schedule appointments using salon software such as Gloss Genius. Assist stylists with preparing workstations, sanitizing tools, and maintaining salon cleanliness according to sanitation standards. Support hairstyling services by handling hair coloring, hair extensions, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application under supervision. Promote retail sales by upselling hair care products, nail care items, and other beauty essentials while providing knowledgeable recommendations. Manage retail inventory, perform retail math calculations, and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Facilitate client communication by answering questions about services offered, appointment availability, and aftercare instructions. Assist with store management tasks including organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting mentoring of new team members. Requirements Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a cosmetology background is highly preferred. Knowledge of salon software systems such as Gloss Genius or similar platforms for scheduling and client management. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to engage clients effectively. Understanding of sanitation practices essential for maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
