Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate barber to join our team on Carolina Beach! The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques, great customer service and the ability to manage day to day operations in a barbershop. This role involves providing high-quality haircuts, grooming services, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients. A commitment to client satisfaction through great customer service and expertise is essential. Responsibilities Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services with precision and care. Consult with clients to understand their styling preferences and provide professional recommendations. Utilize barbering techniques including straight razor shaving and hair styling to achieve desired results. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, tools, and equipment. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings. Assist in store management tasks as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations. Requirements Proven experience in barbering with a valid barbering license. Strong knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking. Familiarity with color theory and various hair styling techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Capability to upsell services effectively while maintaining client satisfaction. Attention to detail and a passion for the barber industry.
