Full Job Description Roosters Men's Grooming Center is hiring licensed Barbers and Cosmetologists to join our team. Duties Provide expert haircuts and styling tailored to men's preferences Execute precision fades, tapers, and blends across all lengths and hair types Perform clean head shaves and scalp maintenance Deliver beard trims, lineups, and detailing to shape and define facial hair Perform traditional straight-razor shaves and hot-towel services (Barbers) Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workspaces after each service Utilize salon software like Zenoti for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products Upsell retail products such as hair care items, grooming accessories, and skincare products to enhance client experience and store revenue Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management tasks Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and customer service best practices Skills & Qualifications Active Ohio Barber or Cosmetology license (required) Skilled in men's cutting techniques including precision fades, tapers, and blends Proficiency in clean head shaves and beard trimming, lineups, and detailing Straight-razor shave and hot-towel experience (Barbers) Proficiency in salon software systems such as Zenoti for scheduling and sales management Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on men's grooming services Knowledge of hair coloring principles and color theory to achieve desired results Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Ability to manage retail sales through upselling strategies while maintaining excellent client relationships Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Store management experience is a plus for supporting daily operations and team mentoring Excellent communication skills combined with a professional demeanor to foster client loyalty and team collaboration What We Offer [Competitive commission / hourly + tips ] Steady flow of clients and walk-ins Retail and product commission opportunities Ongoing education and skill development A clean, modern, professional environment Roosters Men's Grooming Center is an equal opportunity employer.
