Blue Star Barbershop is a family-owned business with over a decade of experience serving the Columbus community across 4 locations. We take pride in creating a welcoming, high-quality barbershop experience for both our team and our clients. We're looking for skilled Barbers and Cosmetologists who are passionate about their craft and ready to be part of a team that's been cutting Columbus for over 15 years. What We Offer Earning Potential with Security Competitive commission rate with $14/hourly base guarantee - you earn whichever is greater each pay period. Keep 100% of your tips on top of that! Commission-based pay that increases with productivity, proficiency, and tenure Steady clientele built from 15+ years of business across Columbus Sign-on bonus of $500 available for candidates with full nights & weekend availability What You'll Do Provide exceptional service from consultation through the neck shave and finishing touches Build lasting relationships with clients who keep coming back Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation that meets Ohio regulatory standards What You Need Active Ohio Cosmetology and/or Barber License (required) Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency in hair styling, barbering, and sanitation practices Nights and Weekends availability strongly preferred
