for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations Offer personalized hair care advice, product recommendations, and retail upselling to support clients' ongoing beauty routines Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure a positive salon experience Assist with front desk duties including appointment bookings, check-ins, and managing client flow to maximize efficiency Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters skill development and teamwork Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license as per state regulations; experience working in the beauty industry strongly preferred Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring (color theory knowledge), and finishing touches Experience with salon management tools such as MINDBODY or similar salon software is highly desirable Skilled in performing hair treatments like hair extensions, hair coloring, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing excellent customer service Familiarity with store management principles including retail math and front desk operations is a plus Join us in creating beautiful transformations while enjoying a supportive environment that values your talent!
