Posted Date 7/06/2026 Description Ginger & Maude® Hair Salon is hiring a stylist for multiple salon locations within the City of Portland. The Stylist must have an Oregon Hair Design license, have completed extensive training programs after graduation, and have had at least two years of behind-the-chair experience. Stylists must be willing to be trained and deliver service for tightly coiled and curly hair. All Stylists must complete a paid training program with our Educational Director before working behind the chair. The training program takes a minimum of two weeks. Completion time is dependent on the Stylist's skill and speed.

Full-time Shift Schedule:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Work Locations:

Each Stylist must work at multiple Ginger & Maude Hair Salons within the City of Portland.

Compensation:

Stylists are paid either $26.46 per hour or 35% commission on services provided to clients, whichever is more.
Tips are not included in these rates. Tips are additional income for each stylist.
Profit-sharing bonuses
Paid holidays and paid time off: $26.46 per hour
Continuing education: $26.46 per hour
Retirement fund: Simple IRA with employer match of up to 3%
