LPN Full Job Description On-Call Hours:

Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m.

Compensation:

$2,500 guaranteed monthly availability stipend , plus $38/hour for LPNs or $55/hour for RNs when called in.

Location:

In person at various patient locations; this is not a remote position Position Summary Gracious Care Hospice is seeking a reliable and compassionate RN or LPN to serve as an On-Call Runner Nurse Monday through Thursday nights. The selected nurse will receive a guaranteed $2,500 monthly stipend for remaining available during the required on-call hours—even if no visits are assigned. When called out to provide patient care, the nurse will also earn:

LPN:

$38 per hour

RN:

$55 per hour Responsibilities Remain available and prepared to respond throughout the assigned on-call hours Travel to various patient locations when a visit is required Provide compassionate nursing care consistent with the patient's plan of care Assess patient needs and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate hospice team members Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Support patients and families during urgent or changing situations Follow Gracious Care Hospice policies and applicable nursing standards Benefits and Highlights Guaranteed $2,500 monthly availability stipend Additional hourly pay whenever called out to work One-on-one training with an experienced nurse before working independently Supportive and hardworking team environment Requirements Active and unrestricted Oregon RN or LPN license Reliable availability Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Ability to respond promptly and travel to various patient locations Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills Compassionate and professional approach to hospice care Medical and religious vaccine exemptions are accepted in accordance with applicable requirements.
