Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetologist/Salon manager in training, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nail and esthetic services, ensuring an exceptional experience for our existing clientele. Responsibilities Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place Qualifications Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused salon Strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize, and organize PA Cosmetologist license Benefits We offer many great benefits, including free early access to your pay through Homebase. Proven experience in a nail salon or spa setting is preferred. Strong skills in customer service and hospitality are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Experience with retail sales and upselling techniques will be advantageous. tattooing is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
