Full-time Retainer / Contract Job Summary We are seeking a talented E-commerce Stylist to join the creative team at Born To Roam . In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our premium headwear collections to life across our digital storefront. Because our brand is built on impeccable structure, luxury materials (like 100% Australian wool), and true size inclusivity—engineered to fit natural textures, braids, locs, and twists—your styling must showcase both the precise engineering and the bold, high-fashion attitude of our pieces. You will work closely with photographers and models to ensure our hats are positioned as ultimate power pieces that inspire confidence.

Key Responsibilities On-Set Headwear Styling:

Style our signature structured hats (including pillboxes, fedoras, and premium caps) on live models, ensuring proper placement, angle, and a flawless look that highlights product geometry.

Texture & Fit Adaptability:

Work dynamically with diverse hair textures, volumes, and protective styles to demonstrate our signature adjustable inner-band fit on camera.

Product-Only Imagery:

Execute high-end tabletop, flat lay, and off-model product photography styling that highlights premium details like our satin linings and signature gold-tone BTR pins.

Apparel Co-Styling:

Curate elevated, editorial-yet-accessible apparel pairings (from clean basics to high-end streetwear) that complement the headwear without distracting from it.

Sample & Shape Care:

Maintain the integrity of studio samples. Block, steam, brush, and prep wool and fabric hats so they hold their perfect silhouette and clean lines on camera.

Visual Consistency:

Ensure every digital asset aligns with our brand ethos: "Be Seen. Be Remembered."

Qualifications and Skills Experience:

2+ years of fashion styling experience, with a heavy emphasis on accessories, headwear, or premium/luxury e-commerce brands.

Hair & Texture Awareness:

Strong understanding of how headwear interacts with various natural hair types, volumes, and protective styles to help convey our message of true inclusivity. Attention to

Detail:

A sharp eye for symmetry, fabric behavior, and the subtle adjustments (pinning, padding, positioning) needed for structured products.

Speed and Efficiency:

Ability to maintain styling precision in a fast-paced, high-volume studio environment to meet daily image production targets.

Portfolio Required:

A portfolio showcasing high-quality e-commerce or editorial styling, ideally highlighting accessory or headwear work.
