Experienced Barber — New Era Barbershop New Era Barbershop is growing, and we're looking for experienced, motivated, and customer-focused barbers to join our team! We are a high-traffic barbershop with a strong clientele and a professional, energetic atmosphere. We're looking for barbers who take pride in their work, enjoy connecting with clients, and are ready to grow their business while being part of a team. Why Join New Era? Our shop offers on-site marketing support designed to help promote our barbers and bring new clients through the door. You'll have the opportunity to grow your personal clientele while benefiting from the traffic and reputation of the shop. Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, beard services, line-ups, and other barbering services. Work confidently with all hair types, textures, and styles. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for every client. Maintain professionalism, a positive attitude, and a clean work station. Accept and accommodate walk-in clients while maintaining excellent service for scheduled appointments. Consult with clients to understand their desired haircut or style and provide professional recommendations when needed. Build strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat business. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the New Era Barbershop brand positively. Follow all applicable sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards. Properly sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas between clients. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment without sacrificing quality. Be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Help maintain a positive, respectful, and energetic shop environment. Be willing to promote your work and participate in shop marketing opportunities when needed. Stay current with barbering trends, techniques, styles, and industry standards. Have fun, bring good energy, and help make New Era a place clients want to come back to! Requirements Active and up-to-date South Carolina Barber License required. Minimum of 2 years of professional barbering experience. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards. Ability to work with all hair types and textures. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-client-volume environment. Must be reliable, professional, and punctual. Must be comfortable accepting walk-ins. Must take pride in providing quality services and maintaining a clean, professional workspace.
