Job Summary We are an Aveda salon and spa, seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/Nail Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, color treatments, and styling services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Opportunities for raises are available based on experience, skills, and performance. Responsibilities Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to client preferences. Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate hair care solutions. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color techniques, and product knowledge. Perform additional services such as nail care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Utilize software for appointment scheduling and client management. Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and boost retail sales. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients and managing check-ins/outs. Skills Proficient in cosmetology practices with a strong understanding of color theory. Experience with hair extensions and barbering techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to upsell products and services while providing exceptional customer service. Familiarity or similar salon management software is preferred.
