This salon currently primarily services locs, braids, and other natural styles but we are eager to open all skillsets to the environment. Duties Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions to meet each client's unique needs. Perform specialized services such as hair threading, straight razor shaves, and barbering to diversify your offerings. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each client to ensure safety and hygiene. Use salon management software like Square to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations. Engage in effective client communication via Square and Sideline to understand their preferences, offer professional recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse services specifically with textured hair. Knowledge of hair coloring techniques such as highlights, and corrective color applications. Familiarity with salon software systems like Square for appointment booking and client management. Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering as required by state regulations; additional training in sanitation standards is essential.
