General Description Pay for this position is $2,400 per 3 hour credit course per semester. Day and evening positions available on the Wharton and Richmond campuses. The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and candidates will be considered as departmental needs arise. Requirements This position requires a Cosmetology Operators license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and certificate of cosmetology instructor training of 500 hours or more if the candidate did not previously hold a Cosmetology Operator Instructors license prior to September 1, 2021. 36 months of full time work experience is also required.
