We are growing our team and looking for a licensed Cosmetologist who is confident performing a variety of salon and spa services and is excited to grow alongside us. Position Overview We are seeking a talented, versatile, and customer-focused Cosmetologist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys having variety in their day and is comfortable working across multiple areas of the salon. Our cosmetologists may provide manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, waxing, facials, brow services, lash services, and other beauty and spa treatments offered at Hidden Gem. Because nails and pedicures make up a significant portion of our salon's current services, strong nail and pedicure skills are especially important for this position. Our esthetic services are continuing to grow, so there is also an opportunity to help us expand and develop that side of the business. Responsibilities Provide professional manicures and pedicures. Perform nail enhancements and nail art when qualified. Provide waxing services, including facial and body waxing. Perform facials and other skincare treatments. Provide brow and lash services within your scope of licensure and training. Deliver professional, relaxing, and personalized experiences for every client. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area in compliance with Utah state regulations. Stay current on beauty trends, techniques, products, and services. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Recommend appropriate services and retail products based on client needs. Work as part of a supportive, team-focused salon environment. Help contribute to the growth and development of our esthetics and spa services. Requirements Must hold a current Utah Cosmetology License. Comfortable performing a variety of salon and spa services. Strong manicure and pedicure skills are required. Experience with nail enhancements and nail art is a plus. Experience with waxing, facials, brows, and lashes is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Reliable and punctual. Willingness to learn new services and continue developing your skills. Ability to maintain a clean and professional workspace. Must be comfortable working in a salon where responsibilities may span multiple service categories.
