Responsibilities Create a variety of braid styles, including box braids, cornrows, twists, and other intricate designs tailored to client preferences Consult with clients to understand their desired look, offering professional advice on hair care, maintenance, and styling options Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly sanitizing tools such as straight razors, combs, and brushes between client Assist with hair extensions, coloring, and styling services to provide comprehensive beauty solutions Educate clients on proper hair care routines and recommend suitable products for their hair type and style needs Support store management with retail sales by promoting hair care products and makeup applications that complement styling services Requirements Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on braiding or hairstyling techniques Strong knowledge of hair care practices, sanitation standards, and safety protocols Skilled in hair coloring, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application is a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their styling goals Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a positive team environment Knowledge of store management principles including retail math for product sales and inventory control Passion for ongoing learning about color theory, hair styling trends, and new techniques in the beauty industry Join us in creating inspiring looks that empower our clients!
