Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas according to health regulations. Use salon software such as Gloss Genius to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their preferences, and offering personalized recommendations. Upsell retail products like hair care, styling tools, and cosmetics to boost sales and improve client results. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling inquiries professionally. Stay informed on current trends in color theory, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and retail math to maximize sales opportunities. Skills Proficiency in hair services. Expertise in color theory to create vibrant or subtle color transformations tailored to each client. Skilled in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves for diverse clientele. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships. Experience in retail sales with upselling strategies to promote products effectively. Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times. Ability to manage store operations or assist with tasks when necessary. Competence in hair styling for various occasions along with hair threading techniques for precise shaping.
