Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for a Beautician within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families. We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities. We pride ourselves on our competitive wages and the high number of long-term committed employees. Typical pay of $15-$60 per person depending on service. This is a contract position.
Requirements:
Must be a licensed Beautician in good standing and meet all applicable state certification requirement. Must be at least 18 years of age Previous experience or completion of appropriate training program Completion of elementary education, ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions Must speak and understand English A positive attitude towards the elderly
Responsibilities:
To perform direct patient care duties of shampoo, set and roll, dry, curl, color, press, perm, cut, all hair types; shave; pedicures; and manicures. To assist maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents. Ability to write and keep records such as logs and/ or schedule. The schedule is determined by a self-scheduling of designated day(s).
