Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Beautician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of cosmetology practices, hair care, and client service, with a dedication to enhancing clients' natural beauty through expert styling and treatments. As a Licensed Beautician, you will provide a wide range of beauty services, including hair styling, coloring, extensions, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions, while delivering exceptional customer experiences in a professional and welcoming environment. Duties Perform professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services tailored to individual client preferences. Provide expert makeup application and nail care treatments to enhance clients' appearance for various occasions. Conduct hair threading, eyelash extensions, and other specialized beauty procedures with precision and care. Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Utilize salon software such as
MINDBODY
for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable hair care products and retail items to clients. Upsell additional services and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth salon operations. Mentor junior staff members by sharing expertise in hair coloring techniques, color theory, and store management practices. Foster excellent communication with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored beauty solutions. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license with experience working in the beauty industry across diverse services such as hair styling, coloring, extensions, and nail care. Proficiency in salon software platforms like
MINDBODY
for appointment booking and retail management. Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Expertise in hair coloring techniques including color theory principles for customized results. Skilled in barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves when applicable. Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math calculations to boost revenue. Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration. Ability to manage store operations effectively while providing exceptional customer service.
