Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Spa Receptionist | Spa Attendant to join our team. The front desk is an essential part of the Balensi Spa guest experience. You will often be the first and last person our guests interact with, making excellent communication, hospitality, organization, and attention to detail extremely important. This position involves assisting guests, managing appointments, answering phones, processing transactions, recommending services and products, supporting our service providers, and helping ensure the spa operates smoothly throughout the day. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, can multitask in a busy environment, and understands the importance of exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet guests and create a professional and welcoming spa experience Answer incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette and assist guests with questions and reservations Manage spa reservations, appointment scheduling, cancellations, and schedule changes Confirm appointments and accurately maintain guest and reservation information Educate guests about spa services, treatments, memberships, packages, and retail products Maximize appointment availability and assist with filling openings in the schedule Encourage guests to pre-book future appointments Recommend appropriate additional services and retail products based on guest needs Process guest check-ins, check-outs, payments, gift cards, and retail transactions accurately Coordinate with estheticians, massage therapists, and other team members to maintain smooth daily schedules Assist with guest concerns professionally and involve management when appropriate Support retail operations, including sales, product organization, restocking, and maintaining displays Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and organization of the reception and common areas Assist with general Spa Attendant duties and daily operational tasks as needed Communicate clearly with management and team members regarding guest needs, scheduling, and daily operations Qualifications & Minimum Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a spa, salon, hotel, hospitality, or similar customer-facing environment Strong customer service and hospitality skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer proficiency; experience with POS and reservation/booking systems is preferred Ability to handle scheduling, payments, phone calls, and guest requests simultaneously Ability to prioritize responsibilities and remain professional in a fast-paced environment Comfortable recommending services and retail products to guests Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and goal-oriented Ability to work well independently and as part of a supportive team environment Professional appearance and demeanor Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Availability to work the required schedule, including some Saturdays Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods during scheduled shifts Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed Compensation & Benefits $18.00
