This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the beauty industry to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a professional environment. The ideal candidate will support hairstylist in delivering exceptional services, while also expanding their knowledge of hair care, coloring, and styling techniques. Prior experience or training in cosmetology, barbering, or hair styling is highly valued. Duties Assist senior stylist with client consultations and preparations for various hair treatments and styling services Prepare and organize tools, products, and workstations to ensure efficient service delivery Support with hair coloring processes, including mixing color formulas based on color theory principles Help apply hair color, highlights, and other coloring techniques under supervision Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with safety standards Provide support during haircutting, styling, blow-drying, and finishing procedures Stay informed about current trends in hair styling and coloring to assist with creative client requests Ensure a welcoming environment for clients by providing friendly assistance and maintaining professionalism Skills Basic knowledge of cosmetology, barbering, and hair styling techniques Understanding of hair coloring principles and color theory Strong interest in the beauty industry with a willingness to learn and grow professionally Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Ability to follow instructions accurately while demonstrating creativity when appropriate Prior experience working in a salon or related environment is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated candidates This position offers a valuable stepping stone for aspiring hairstylists looking to build their expertise while supporting a talented team dedicated to client satisfaction.
